There seems to be a problem with online journey planners at present which are charging the £12 minimum fare during July and August which does not apply. If you wish to book a walk-up ticket for July or August with a 16-25 railcard you might want to use a ticket office instead until this is fixed.

Is this all booking engines, or just some?

If this causes me a financial loss and I am not reimbursed this loss (a la timetable issues), I shall not be happy...

The non-applicability of minimum fares during July/August is a condition of the Railcards and not just an informal policy. Failure to adhere to this is not acceptable IMO.

Well it would be very unlikely to cause you a loss now that you know about it :) If you hadn't, though...

I am expecting it to be a relatively short-lived problem now.

Just to reassure everyone, as mentioned above the problem only occurs to walk-up* fares for travel in July/August before 10am, when purchased in conjunction with a 16-25 Railcard.

(* Advance fares are not subject to the minimum fare)

Agreed.
