I've created this thread to record the publication of the various final TOC timetable pdfs and the eNRT:

As of this morning the following TOCs have published timetable pdfs on their websites:

Southeastern
TfL Rail (Shenfield Line)

*Also GTR have published timetable sheets in pdf format for Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern at https://www.railplan2020.com/timetables - they do caution that these may be subject to late changes.

It is a pity that Arriva Trains Wales didn't get memo that Irish Ferries have changed the 11:50 fast ferry from Holyhead to 11:30.

As usual GWR are one of the last TOCs to put their tt’s online despite the fact the printed versions are now available. There really is no excuse once they’ve gone to print you have the pdfs to hand ready to upload to the website.

Or perhaps, given that things still change after the deadline for printing, GWR is holding off posting pdfs until they can incorporate any further alterations in those? Especially at the a time when Network Rail is struggling to firm up its work schedules.

There is a heck of a lot of engineering work going on in the GWR area, for obvious reasons, so I'd rather they hold off and get in as many useful updates as they can, rather than bung the timetable pdfs online three weeks before they actually come into force.

Gosh if only GWR would incorporate revised times due to engineering work in their timetables. They stopped doing that a long time ago so no I don’t buy holding off waiting for further alterations. In fact their pocket timetables are next to useless at weekends, not much use during the week at times as well on some IC lines at the moment. Thank goodness for RTT!

No I think it’s just a case of simply can’t be bothered to get them uploaded to their site. I’m sorry that may not be a popular theory.

Or GWR train planners are snowed under with revisions due to engineering short term changes from Network Rail and are struggling to keep the essentials like train crew diagram changes inside deadlines ? Sadly most people under 35 have probably never consulted a traditional timetable instead relying on online journey planners showing A to B at X o' clock so TOC's don't see it as a priority, many would like to stop printing full timetables for passengers if they could get away with it.

Or a completely inaccurate one - the GWR publications team are known to revise the pdfs posted on the website if there are useful updates they can insert or someone spots errors in the printed versions.

I did not mean that they were going to produce complete timetables listing pages of updates for week after week - which is what would be required all over the GWR network at the moment - just that if it is possible to add in things like a note that 'due to engineering work, services on this route will be subject to alterations between dates X and Y, please check before travelling' that they had not known details of when the printed versions were signed off, then they can still do that for the version that is posted online.

In any case, you seem to think that whether printed or pdf, they are of no use at all to you. It sounds as though you would rather they didn't bother at all.

Sad but true. I’m sure it will only be a matter of time before Dft removes that requirement from franchise specifications to produce printed timetables. I know Network Rail would love to see the back of having to produce the NRT.

It's Merseytravel that tend publish Merseyrail timetables & their always a couple of weeks before the change date, apart from big Merseyrail shutdowns like the Loop last year, Merseyrail hardly change their times, it's mainly other operators mostly Northern who's times change.

I know that - that’s where I get them from!

Big TT change this year, especially on the Ormskirk line.

And times will stay the same throughout the day on the Kirkby/Ormskirk line even when dropping to 30 min service, so easy to remember.

The route map on the front of Table 41 has not been updated to reflect the new Leeds - Wakey - Knottingley services.

I tend to use the barometer of a TOC publishing the timetable pdfs on their website as an indication that they are final. Until that happens changes can still happen.

Hence this thread!
