Southampton - Ryde

Just a quick one, I'm looking at going to the Isle of Wight to photo some of the 38 stock.

Can anyone confirm, does a Southampton - Ryde Pier Head off-peak return include ferry travel?

I'm going to buy a day rover once I'm in Ryde. It looks as if it'll work out cheaper to buy the above ticket compared to buying a Southampton - Portsmouth ticket then separate ferry ticket...
