Are there any occasions you can claim for delays on a non- protected Priv?

Would never normally think of claiming but have been considerably delayed on both legs of my London- Glasgow trip- well over an hour late now into Eus today.

As far as I'm aware you can claim under delay repay. If it's a quarter fare ticket you would get a quarter of the compensation.

I've got the odd PRIV ticket partially refunded on Delay Repay without incident or quibble. Mainly due to ECML overhead line issues...

I did it for a delayed Preston - Leeds trip early last year. I missed the connection at Leeds for the last train to London. Luckily got the stopping service to Doncaster for a connection.

Duly submitted a claim, though wasn't sure if Northern would pay up; however they did by sending me one single journey voucher.

Priv-rated tickets are entitled to the same compensation arrangements as full-fare tickets. The only exception I am aware of is that you are not entitled to a Gold Card on annual seasons.

The compensation entitlement is buried somewhere in the Knowledgebase, although I can't remember off the top of my head where.

It works fine for me on mobile, but if you simply give the train times then we can work it out for you.

Change "Around now" to "0000-2359" on the dropdown menu, then select the date you want.

Thanks for the advice on this. Got half the fare back. Very simple claim form online and just uploaded pics of the tickets so fair play to West Coast.
