Probably heading down to join the other B7TLs that went down south a few months ago. That'll most likely mean stuff will be coming north to replace them.
Reported that 32551/3 headed to First West of England (Bath) and 44905 going the opposite direction.

Surly it would be better to get Cornwall to send them to Bristol. Then trying to Bristol to send them Manchester?

Would you want to drive a Caetano Dart from Cornwall to Glasgow?
You'd think that, across First, they'd have a few drivers that are on holiday in Cornwall that could drive them back after their holiday! (Obviously those who haven't experienced a Caetano Dart before).

Passed one of the newly-branded 61s this morning. Have to say the simplified livery (same as Bristol/Norwich, I think) looks good – an improvement on the bland 2012 Olympia. Presumably the new vehicles, whenever they arrive, will be branded for something?

Still think specific route branding is silly , trying to keep them on the 61

Tried to post earlier, I passed a 61 branded Gemini on the M8 about 6:45 tonight showing 60 on the front, so presumably heading back to Caledonia from Easterhouse. That lasted long...

What is the deal with the First Midland Bluebird Uni link E400MMCs at Caly? I get uni services aren’t on over summer but are they using them in service. Notice they’ve moved about the depot a bit on passing.

There have been Enviro400 chassis seen being transported to Falkirk. Unsure if these are the first batch of Glasgows, but judging by the accompanying first of the Stagecoach Midlands ones (which is due there in September), slightly before this time would be likely for these ones.

Thanks for the info! Wonder what routes they’ll be on. Would be nice for some of the Parkhead routes to receive them but possibly they could also go on the 5 and 75 routes.

Funny when the 5 lost the e400mmcs to the ex cumbernauld and blantyre motorway services. 18 could do with new buses

Perhaps they’ll reinstate the new E400s on to the 5 and 75 to allow the Gemini’s to cascade elsewhere. I agree the 18 is a mess with those grubby 53 plates.

On a separate note how many B10BLEs are still in service? Seen a few have been written off. Surely there must be a huge singles order coming with the B10BLEs going and very soon the B7Ls which are still used on main stream services today. A lot of the 51/02 plate stock has also seen better days.

Lost somewhere within Bank-Monument tube station,
On the Firstbus Enthusiasts Facebook group, there's a picture of 37202 (SF07FCO) in service sporting a new red-fronted livery, rather akin to the Red Line B9s in Norwich. Route branding still to be revealed.

The 53-plate Tridents are going through a repaint programme as well, and the ones done so far look incredibly smart, should keep them going for another couple of years. They're a good batch of buses, based on my experiences in Glasgow last year and their sisters at Hadleigh in Essex last month.

https://flic.kr/p/MBoMHN Wonder what route the red fronts will eventually be on? Route 4 in the pic. I like the new simpler branding and another refurbished interior, no private plate this time though.

Interesting , the 4 tended to get the new buses but this is over 10 years old .Gonna be a hard job keeping them on the branded routes. 61 branded on the 60 for example

If you go out to Motherwell theres still a fair few B10BLES , a few that never come into the City . B7Ls are awful

18 had new Geminis in 2004 that are newer than the 53 plates on it currently

I really like this new route branding, the buses I’ve saw look really smart. Especially the blue 240 branded E200s. It would be good to see the 2 getting branded as it’s one of the biggest routes.

As for the 53 plate tridents... I’ve saw a few which look great after being repainted. It’d be nice to see them branded for the 60 perhaps? Although I must say they’re looking a bit grubby inside after being battered on the 60 since they arrived here.

The E200 s are probably he best singles First Glasgow has .
The 53 plates for the most part stay on the ex Parkhead routes .

I saw on Flickr someone posted about Glasgow receiving 75 new deckers. I know that can be speculation but was it actually confirmed, last I checked it was only 25?

They will be getting 75 anyway, but the timescale is unknown, apart from the 25 coming soon.
