Brackley 2 v Darlo 4

Darlo 4 up inside 30 minutes through a Reece Styche hat trick leading to a great away win against one of the favoroured sides in national north. Thanks to Stagecoach I didn't see the game as my bus from MK didn't stop at the assigned bus stop despite me standing with my arm like a massive bus w*nker. Thanks chaps.

I have a feeling that Derby also qualify. Mind you, if they continue to play the way they did tonight they will be heading down anyway.

I'm a Leeds fan- Derby actually didn't play that bad and they were better than Stoke, but due to better finishing on the day we bagged an extra goal. For me the game was lost on a tactical level. I don’t think Derby are a bad team, they had a couple of decent spells today and I think they will finish nearer the top than the bottom of the league.

From a Leeds perspective, I’m obviously delighted that we’ve put in two great performances now and against decent teams too. Some superb goals yesterday.

We’ve got Bolton in the cup on Tuesday, I hope we play a much changed team as we have good players that haven’t featured yet so we need to get them involved and see how they play with our new tactics.

Then it’s Rotherham at home on Saturday. We’ve traditionally struggled in derby games, so this will be a big test.

As a Wolves fan, we would be totally screwed if that happened! At least such a bonkers rule does not exist, meaning I can capture moments like Neves stunning Free-Kick!

One heck of an adventure has begun.

Any team that features ' Hi Ho Silver Lining' in their pre-match build up should be automatically relegated one division.

''Liquidator" by Harry J and the All Stars gets you a two division drop.

I look forward to a civilised debate.

....... and 'Popcorn' gets you sent to the SPL.

An excellent 4-0 win for Liverpool against West Ham this afternoon.

I don't think we played to the best of our abilities either, which is very encouraging.

Yeah, not a bad result.
Klopp helps his mate out by making sure we aren't bottom of the table after yesterdays 0-3 defeat at home to Chelsea. A scoreline that felt a tad harsh from my admittedly biased perspective. Up next, Manchester City at the Etihad... easy-peasy! ;)

Didn't Huddersfield get a good result against City last season?

Fingers crossed for another one (or two) this season. :)

Oldham pick up they first point of season but if our on loan Leicester goalkeeper didn't pull off some good saved in second half we more than likely to lost this match.

Oldham 3-1 Macclesfield

Good win for Oldham which I thought they deserve victory. Macclesfield look poor side and only really threat in last 30 mins of match.

Highland League

Fort William 0 ... Turriff United 10

Not many sides concede double figures three times in the first four matches of a league season.

I see Fort William have kept up they record of conceding double figures for this season.

Inverurie Loco Works 10 - Fort William 0

I'm wondering if Ben Hamer knows the first thing about goalkeeping...

He was poor in the few games he played for Leicester. Leicester fans were amazed when he moved to another Premier League club, and we assumed he'd just be second or third choice.

He was signed as cover for Lössl but had a good pre-season. There's rumours that Lössl came back from Russia in poor shape and that's why Hamer was picked for the first two games. Can't see Hamer still starting next week though.

Kidderminster 5 v Darlo 2

A man sent off early and a dodgy penalty made this a tough day for the Quakers not helped by a fairly poor defensive show. Highlights of the day: The pies at Kiddie ( takeaway container full of shepherds pie) and a pre match trip on the SVR followed by a couple of pints in the station.

I haven't seen the highlights so don't know if it was a red (it looked like an aggressive tackle to me) but I maintain that if it is red card for a midfielder to go over the top of the ball, late, 2 footed, but take ball and man then the game is gone. GONE.

The penalty I think was penalty by the letter of the law but was for the kind of penalty area shenanigans that happens 20 times a game. Our centre forward was subject to the same a few minutes later. Result: Play on. The referee Mr Kiddie of Minster gave us nowt all day.

Look on the bright side, at least you've got 3 free points coming your way on Saturday - Alty are a defensive shambles for the time being.

And Kidderminster pies are one of the highlights of the league, it really makes the catering at Alty look rubbish (I used to run the home end snack bar at Moss Lane, but had no authority to change what we sold)

so are we! We beat Brackley 4-1 last weekend and drew with Bylth in a game we should have won (battered them) but looked a different team on Saturday.
