Why are some of the intercity services not calling at Colchester? They're timetabled to do so on normal timetable and the GA site and alterations posters shows nothing to suggest they were not serving there but the weekend special timetable shows no call? Bit random?

I know they are replaced by EMUs but still don't understand the dropping of Colchester?

Near a bunch of sheds that aren't 66s.
Not really aware of the reasoning behind this, is this perhaps due to an event closer to Norwich taking place that might need as much train capacity as possible? By doing so, dropping the Colchester stop allows seating capacity to free up for those travelling to said event, if even running?

There are no trains to Norwich today. Buses replace trains between Norwich and Ipswich.

The 43 minute pasts from Ipswich are not stopping between Manningtree and Stratford and the 9.43 was fairly lightly loaded at Manningtree so it's just odd.

Those trains, 08:00, 09:00, 10:00 ex Norwich have been fast from Ipswich since the start of the May timetable, it’s because they were getting too crowded (shoppers at Westfield?) with the normal stopping pattern. EMU sweepers from Ips pick up the intermediate stops.

Simply the booked timetable operating south of Ipswich. Extra trains start from Colchester to pick up the calls of the three InterCity trains.

Obviously with buses operating those three trains will be lightly loaded but nothing else unusual happening.

Got I paper timetable from May here with the stops listed. PDF has it in italics but bold on paper copy. Must be misprint.

I need my opinion the 11:00up should also omit Colchester & Chelmsford on Saturdays as is a regular for crowding as arrives perfectly for sporting events. Don't think it was possible to introduce an 12:03 Colchester-Liverpool St additional EMU as happens at 09:03/10:03/11:03.

Indeed there is an 'additional' service from Colchester to London at 0803/0903/1003 from Platform 6 to fill in for the IC service.

Anything is possible but is there the money to pay for it?

Haha there's always money available but not sure whether it's practice diagramming wise whether it be for units or drivers. Must be a reason as this train is one that is posted as F&S on almost a weekly basis.
