About 20 years ago my friend and I built this layout. It's based in Scotland in 1988. We exhibited a number of times but when Wigan lost our club rooms we bought it and stored in in our garages. Since then we have built an N gauge layout Dallam and planning another 4mm layout. We then decided to dust off Strathmuir and take her back to Wigan. Final stuff being done to get her ready for the show in the 6th and 7th October. The question though is what to do with her after the show, keep her and struggle with storage, strip it for parts (all the trees, over 30 figures, trackwork, etc) or sell it. We are still undecided.
