What do power points have to do with GWR livery?
:s
Maybe the question of power points (raised initially by myself) relates to the livery side of things in that the units that have received a full GWR revised interior (an internal livery, perhaps?) have tended to receive power point mods too.
However, in a quest to find out the ones without such additions (a quest of utter pointlessness that only transport enthusiasts will undertake, self included), I asked on the forum.
And here we are.

150219/232/238 do even though their interiors are still in the FGW branding but I don't think the 158s with the FGW interiors do...

166211 + 166221 on 5U48 0720 Reading Depot - St Philips Marsh today. Another spin of the merry-go round today?

Yep,

166211 returns to SPM for use by the West.
166221 is for C4 work.
166217 (now RHM) to make the return trip to Reading.

It looks like 165137 returned from Long Marston yesterday and is in service minus GWR branding today, there have not been many like that for a while. Does anyone know what was on opposite move to Long Marston yesterday to have the seat reduction - I would think one of 165122,127,134 a likely candidate. Thank You.

122 swapped with 130 on Friday.
134 swapped with 137 yesterday.

Thank you for the update. By my reckoning that only leaves 165120 & 165127 of the 2-car units active at Reading to visit Long Marston, plus the two units currently in Wolverton in due course.

166201 went off to SPM over the weekend for its C4/RHM work.
166221 made the return trip to RG and is now Ride Height Modded.

Once 201 is done that will be the Class 166 RHM complete.

Thank you for the update. I see RHM 166221 is already active on the North Downs today, whereas 166217 seems to have become rooted to the spot on Reading Depot since returning from its C4/RHM.

One more 3-car LTV diagram went over to IET today which I think covers all the remaining turbo turns that were planned to be IET?

217 seems to have become somewhat of a Christmas Tree, stopped with various parts robbed.

I can't remember how much work each C exam covers, but I hope some attention is paid to 201s air conditioning system while it's down there - It appears to have been broken for most of the summer and has gained an odd smell in the end with the FC compartment in it!

C4 overhaul is basically below frame: bogies, couplers and other safety critical kit.

It looks like the turbo merry go-round has had a few spins today;

Wolverton to Reading (perhaps 165136? - the last turbo to appear in green)

Does anyone know the identities of what was involved with these, thank you.

Thank you for all of that information, its quite a shuffle! So the last turbo to become green has now emerged from Wolverton.

I've already gotten 166201 out earning its keep back as an LTV unit this evening - if all stayed on plan from how I left it it should be out on the 2122 Reading to Gatwick and return.

Which must mean all the LTV 166 are now RHM - 201, 203, 217 & 221.

That’s going to be fun finding diagrams for those :frown:

My error, I meant to say the last Dynamic Lines liveried turbo is now green. Of course there are still the eight GW blue 166s, 201,202,203,207,209,211,215,221
