Just a quick question. I am travelling from Richmond to Gillingham off-peak and I was wondering if the standard off peak tickets are available via both High Speed and via Victoria.

Many thanks

Tickets routed "✠ ANY PERMITTED" are indeed valid both ways. There are also cheaper tickets with route "✠ NOT VALID ON HS1" which would only be valid from Victoria, Charing Cross, Waterloo East, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Blackfriars or London Bridge.

The OP is first getting a train to Vauxhall/Waterloo.

The question is which terminal to depart from, for Ramsgate.

I'm therefore not sure what you mean by travelling from Vauxhall to Ramsgate?

Vauxhall is also one of the permitted London terminals in the group no?

I don't understand what point you are making; the OP is of course travelling via Vauxhall as their journey is from Richmond. That is not in doubt.

The question is regarding the London to Ramsgate leg. This was answered in the second post of this thread.

Yes I know they are coming from Richmond, CyrusWuff wrote a list of valid stations but omitted Vauxhall from their list I was simply for completeness adding that Vauxhall is part of the London terminals group along with Waterloo, London Bridge, City Thamelink:

But it's irrelevant as the OP has no reason to use City Thameslink!
There are no trains from Vauxhall to Gillingham anyway....

Really? Pedantic point, but it is not absolutely necessary to travel through Vauxhall. The OP could change at Clapham Junction and go to Victoria or, with no more than one more change, to Blackfriars or London Bridge. The ticket would even be valid for using London Underground and travelling from Richmond on the District Line and then via any of the permitted London Terminals stations listed, or none of them!
