There was this move this morning which I suspect was a light engine move (probably a 37 or 47) to go and collect something for transfer to Brush on the path you linked

That I can't help with unfortunately. Isn't Allerton generally a multiple unit depot? But then do Brush do work on multiple units or are they more loco works?

If it runs to time (or late) I will be able to get out to have a look so if you have no further information by this point I will let you know

I think it's a MU depot. Maybe a 319? No clue We shall see

Brush are doing the 319 conversions into the bi-mode Flex 769s, so could well be...

For future ref, the headcode 5xxx (scrambled or real) typically is an ECS/stock move; 0xxx would be a light engine.

No - remember most members responding on here are either copying loco numbers through their access to TOPS lists, occasionally others' actual sightings or Flickr photos. Having sold their 60's to GBrF, Colas have fewer locos available now so repetition will become inevitable.

I realise that, but every time I've seen it it's either been 810 or 815. I don't think a 60 has ever worked this service before. Just my hard luck, I guess

Today (8th November), which 159 was paired with 159015 on 1L22 today, the 06:19 Honiton to Waterloo (I don't know when each unit joined the train but it's possible one of them didn't join until Salisbury)? Thanks in advance!

(I had a look but I couldn't see any numbers on the side (it has recently been SWR vinyled and maybe they haven't put the side numbers on yet), and I was running late so didn't have time to walk to the back to see the number there)

Second update: just been told 379 012 has a coupling fault and at present is confined to the middle of a 12 car rake and is therefore unavailable for photo...
