Ironically, there was a Tinner on U1/U2 services today, although a Tinner oftens helps out the Uni fleet during Uni terms on U1-U4 services. A green East Lancashire Lolyne also on U1/U2 services today.Uni E400 33421 and Dart 42874 on Tinner services today.
There was one on the A1 yesterday, which is fairly rare. The Tinner E400MMC’s also perform on service A17 fairly often.
42876 have been offered for Preservation apparently. An update for those who haven't seen the facebook page yet.
20801 - 5 are all up in Anston, Yorkshire for a refurb, and will eventually replace some of the old Irizar coaches along with four newer coaches which are joining the fleet in 2019.
42871 - 6 along with 42942 are going to be replaced by the new Solo SRs, with 42942 going to Somerset and the others being sold on. If the six 53 plates aren't sold in time they'll be used for parts or they'll be scrapped.
that is so good to hear about 42876 that batch have done well in Cornwall42876 have been offered for Preservation.
Methinks FSW have been catching up on some ancient disposals. According to the official First fleet changes lists for November these have 'left the fleet.' 42469/76/725/842 48232/3/4/66 50236 53011. Surely these went long ago. Also 48270/1/2/3 have gone according to the list.
Interestingly 42469,42476,48233,48234,50236,53011 are vehicles which the PSV Circle has not published a disposal I believe. Have they been lurking somewhere in deepest Cornwall!?
YN16CFU is currently parked up in Taunton depot, anybody know what it's doing there?
I see that the M6 was reduced to hourly yesterday afternoon. It must only be a matter of time before the traffic commissioner starts taking an interest. All three Mousehole Solos were in Camborne about an hour ago, none in service. Volvo B7TL 30880 still in urban is VOR with recently repainted 30879 in use yesterday.
That's interesting, because at the very same time a bus of the same type, without the special livery, was working the 16 - well, I take it that it was a 16, but the 1 was missing from the blind. St Ives via Halsetown, and spotted at Sainsbury's, suggests a 16. All of two passengers on board. Of course, somebody has to report it to the T.C. as they tend not to be proactive, particularly with the major groups.I see that the M6 was reduced to hourly yesterday afternoon. It's not the first time that's happened. Given the terrible reliability of the Mousehole Solos they really need a permanent standby vehicle. The current situation is just killing the route. That's interesting, because at the very same time a bus of the same type, without the special livery, was working the 16 - well, I take it that it was a 16, but the 1 was missing from the blind.
