Tesco Clubcard to Redspottedhanky warning

The Tesco Clubcard redspottedhanky page currently has the annotation "Sorry! This offer has ended" on the right hand side, contradicting the other text which still refers to a 31 January cut off date for ordering e-vouchers.

Meanwhile time ticks away towards the official end date, with nobody able to redeem the offer they have been promised.

Both RSH and Tesco have handled this appallingly.

Rather notable that the speed of appearance of these evouchers is phenomenal.........submitted my application this morning.....on the redspottedhanky website this afternoon!

I understand the deadline for exchanging vouchers to RSH is 31 January. The next clubcard statement with vouchers is due in February and anything spent up to 24 January will appear on that statement. However, Tesco now allows you to convert your points, if you have at least 150 of them, into faster vouchers online. It is still therefore possible to convert points into vouchers this way to then use on RSH before the 31 January. However, it is not possible to convert clubcard points into faster vouchers in the 2 weeks before a statement is issued.

I am not sure when exactly the statement issue date is for February and therefore when the 2 weeks will start. I don't know if the 24 January cut off date is the same of if its a different date.

Spoke to Tesco today at Clubcard customer services. Very helpful. The ability to turn points into faster vouchers will be available up to and including 20 January. It will then be switched off between 21 January and 3 February. Any points earned in Tesco stores or petrol stations (takes longer through other means) update overnight and are shown the following day. So if 20 January is the last day to convert points into fast vouchers, it means we have until 19 January to earn points. (however some transactions done late at night may not be processed until the following day so in effect would appear 2 days later).

Once a request for a faster voucher is submitted online this takes up to 24 hours. The ability to request to boot vouchers through RSH is available until 31 January. You need a minimum of 150 points to convert into a faster voucher and then in installments of 50.

The same also applies to RSH in that you need to convert a minimum of 150 then in upwards of 50 at a time.

Finally, I was advised that any vouchers that are posted out - or make available to download online when the next statement is issued (i.e. if you don't convert them yourself) will not be sent out or issued until between 1 February and 16 February. Anyone waiting until their next regular statement will be too late if they wish to convert them to RSH vouchers. You either need to use vouchers that have already been issued by Tesco clubcard to you or convert your points in to faster vouchers by the dates given above.

Unfortunately the Tesco voucher to RSH e-voucher process is taking longer then recently reported (that it was coming through same day). I requested mine 24 hours ago and they are still not there. I do recall reading online/in order confirmation email that it may take up to 4 days however. I do hope this isn't a sign of problems to come and having to wait days on end again and a repeat of the major problems seen in recent times yet again!

I decided to concert my points to faster vouchers early as I don't expect to spend much in Tesco over the next week and didn't want to be pushing a deadline. In realty this came though within 5 minutes of requesting it. Then into RSH vouchers in case there is a sudden surge in demand towards the end of the offer date or they simply can't cope again and again so I can not getting too close to the deadline.

Hopefully my e-voucher will appear real soon though!

Voucher has appeared this evening, so about 40 hours after requesting it. Cannot complain about that as it is within their stated time frame. However I didn't receive any email from RSH this time advising of such. Had to keep checking RHS account to see it appear.
