Bit of a rubbish sale given the usual price of Advances ;)
I thought the same. It offered a reduction in price of 35p for my planned journey into London - definitely not enough to warrant trying to work out how to use Chiltern's journey planner

Has to be the worst booking site out there.

A shame it’s pretty much useless for anyone who works full time during the week.

I’ve just had a look and I can barely leave West Yorkshire with Northern on a Saturday

Could somebody post a photo of the latest token from the JPImedia Northern newspaper offer please? I didn't manage to get a paper today.

Details of the Northern £10 offer for Reach PLC newspapers (including the Manchester Evening News but not the free editions) are now on the Northern website: https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/reachplc The tokens do start on 21st January. There are two mentions of needing two tokens and one mention of needing three tokens!

"This offer is not valid for travel on Arriva Trains Wales, Cross Country, Virgin East Coast, East Midlands Trains, First Hull Trains, First TransPennine Express, Grand Central, London Midland, Merseyrail Electrics or Virgin Trains services."

Wow!
Let's all go for a jolly on Transport for Wales and West Midlands Trains then!

Kids go free on Northern.

Enjoy a great day out with our kids go free promotion.

From Sunday 17 February 2019 to Sunday 3 March 2019 kids aged five to 15 can travel for free with a fare paying adult. Of course, kids under five always travel free on our trains.

This offer is available to buy on our website or via our app – just use the code KIDS at the checkout.

The offer is available across Northern trains only on selected off peak tickets including day returns, returns, advance purchase and advance purchase on the day tickets.

Take advantage of this great offer and discover everything the north of England has to offer.

This is only available on flows with ‘Northern Only’ tickets. Even if only northern travel on the route it’s not valid unless there is a dedicated Northern Only ticket so it’s worth being aware that there are a fair few northern routes this won’t work on.

Hope this isn't a stupid question, but I have an 8-character alphanumeric discount code for LNER, seemingly valid until the end of Feb (for travel to the end of March) but cannot see how or where to enter it. I have tried all sorts of searches but found nothing. This is not the same as redeeming an e-voucher, which is a much longer alphanumeric string.

Thanks in advance

Re the Northern £10 offer with Reach plc, do you have to go to a Northern booking office or can any National Rail booking office issue the tickets?

The LNER website has this in their FAQs:

Why am I being asked to enter a promotional code?
This is probably because we've sent you an email containing a promotional code, (we can never keep quiet about our best deals). During promotional discount periods, you can put in the promotional code we've sent when you sign in to My Account from the desktop version of the website.

If not, get in touch with our Web Support Team on 03457 225 111 and see if we can explain what on earth we're up to.

Or if you have a Unidays code, I think that you have to first log into the Unidays site and then find a link from within the site to the LNER promotional offer.
