Still a few hanging on in there. Big 'toot-toot' from 210 on the depot run tonight out of Central....ominous?
Yes, all the 314s are to be disposed of, with a few going onto preservation

Has it been denied anywhere?Has this actually been confirmed anywhere?
Currently serviceable at Shields.Did 210 get stopped the other night?

I was passing through Glasgow at lunchtime today and saw quite a few 314’s.
314201, 314206 and 314209 were stabled at shields, 201 was stabled next to the withdrawn 206. Both had their pantographs down.
. Yes definitely!Wonder if they will be stil able to run , something its not really done ! Would love to see a 101, 303 and 314 used for special events
Has 314201 been seen running since 28/12/18? If not then its last working was the 07:55 Neilston to Glasgow on that date.
The paths would appear to be:204 or 213 or both going tomorrow to Glasgow Works for scrapping
Running under own power from Yoker to Eastfield then hauled into works by 37884
314 move apparently now cancelled as 212 not disposed of yet (thanks to scot-rail)

Don’t believe everything you hear.Rather disappointing that Scotrail seemingly don't have time to run a farewell tour (as I've heard it reported)
I'm going to use this as an opportunity to rant about the lack of engagement of the Riverside Museum on any significant large scale exhibits from anything later than the 1930s. Okay, only two out of five on my list are trains:
- no Blue Train/303
- no Alexander Y Type
- no Volvo Ailsa
- no Macbraynes Streaker tied up outside
- and now we can be guaranteed, no 314
Does anyone know why they're neglecting the past 50 years in the way that they are?
