I spotted a 314 at Cardonald heading to GLC this morning about 8:20ish. This service is always packed but it’s only ever been a 3 car. Presumably it comes from Gourock or Weymes Bay?

only one 385 is working out of Central so far...and it didn't move much this morning from platform 9!

There definately was a 385 (385008 i think) working Newton and Cathcart services yesterday as I passed it several times on my way in and out of Central driving a 380.

385 training is also taking place out at Corkerhill for Central, Shields and Corkerhill drivers, possibly Gourock drivers aswell getting the training at the moment.

It may well have been driver training, but 385s was out twice this morning at Pollokshaws East. I can see them go by from my living room window

At what time? I was around from 11ish and the Newton via Maxwell Park/Cathcart circulars were 314210/214/216 and the Newton via Queens Park was a 318.

I believe they're only on a short diagram at the moment.

Work the 07:45 to Newton and 08:20 return. Then work a couple of Cathcart circles before returning to Corkerhill.

Don’t bother, I’ve already tried and they’re not interested in either selling or giving them away. Neither are ScotRail (the units that have gone for component recovery were actually sold to ScotRail for a nominal amount).

Which is a bit of a shame; why wouldn't they want to sell them? Is it just too much hassle for them to be bothered with?

Good to see there's still some about. When at Central this morning, for the first time I can recall, the station seemed totally devoid of 314s, though I did see a 385!

I saw 314214 on a canal service at central this morning and I’ve just seen 314205 at central.

380010 was in service to Newton and on the Cathcart Circle this morning.

Seemed to be running vice a 320. Only regular 380 diagrams at the moment are the 3 x 4 car diagrams that work all day and an extra 2 Cathcart Circles in the morning peak that are worked by 3 cars (and have been for years).

Think a 314 might've covered the 385 diagram on Tuesday as well.

314203 was moved into the siding at Shields alongside the mothballed 365 and stored 314201 + 314206 earlier today. Not sure if this means the unit is being withdrawn. It’s pan was still up.

314203 was on the 1745 Glasgow Central to Newton tonight. Odd because this run has been a 318/320 for ages now.

0957 Glasgow Central to Wemyss Bay 314209 today.

Definitely several other 314s out this morning from Central as 202 in station and were at least 2 arrivals but not paying much attention to their identities.

Interestingly 314203 has been running the hourly Glasgow Central - Newton via Queens Park service all day. This is normally diagrammed for 318/320s.
