755407 was your unit - today it's out and about on the GEML
Yes, I saw it sitting in Norwich Station yesterday.

Tyre turning.I saw a 170 DMU at Ilford depot this evening on my way home. Anyone know why it’s down here, anything to do with FLIRTs taking up space at Crown Point?
Is it allowed to take power from the overhead yet?
AFAIK it's still only during the night in a Signal Protection Zone.
No, SPZ is just the standard way of getting clearance to run normally for new trains.
So I hear. It's all very fluid on the Stadler front if it is.745004 reported as the unit arriving tomorrow?
SPZ for the 755 cancelled tonight (27th/28th), and a discussion in the morning to see if the day trips will run. (28th)
Well a 745 definitely just passed through Colchester. Couldn't see the unit number from my train on the opposite platform.745004 reported as the unit arriving tomorrow?

Uploaded to YouTube by South East Train Hub. I presume the whine is from the unpowered motors?
Is that higher or lower than the EMU limit?Just saw that the Bi modes will be able to run at the dmu line speed between Maryland and Shenfield.
Is that higher or lower than the EMU limit?
Both exactly the same. There is no difference with the 90 hauled IC sets either. Is that higher or lower than the EMU limit?
There are four services per day to/from Lowestoft via the East Suffolk Line. When if ever are the bimodes going to be working in the area. I think I saw the first few months of the Norwich in 90 services will be 755 operated, but other than that it's going to be pure EMUs surely?
having found the most up to date version of the Sectional Appendix for that part of the line, it is slightly confusing that the higher speed is marked as DUM (in most cases) but then there's a note stating that classes 321, 322, 360 and 379 plus Class 90s hauling or propelling mark 3 coaches may use the higher speed (not 317s? omission?)
I'd imagine there will be little issue in updating that to include Class 720, 754 and 755.
No plans. It would mean training all Clacton & more Colchester drivers on Stadler too.Are 755's likely to be used on Harwich and Walton / Clacton locals? If so I wonder how one would cope at Wivenhoe Colchester bound with their centre doors and the bend in the platform? Would be a hell of a gap
