I've traced a known sighting of the short 'GTi' set back through RTT, and I think this is what it appears to be working - until this Friday. Any errors let me know.

How many Diagrams will be working on weekdays from the 25th March.

Cheers Nat
Post 702 on page 24 by Jimm says that 3 diagrams go over to IET operation from Monday (IW8, 9, 10) so possibly only 7 diagrams remain.

Those three diagrams have already gone over to IETs - I was referring to the long-term planning HST diagrams back up the thread.

Short-term changes as a result of rolling stock reallocations due to the current closure of Whiteball tunnel for engineering work meant the end of Cotswold Line HSTs in mid-February.

Will there be any HST services on Paddington to Plymouth services on the 16/17/18th of April?
If so which services will they be on?

Someone's reported on Facebook that this Sunday (10/03/19), 1W39 1337 PAD - WOF & its return working 1P69 1627 WOF - PAD is going to be an HST. Can anyone confirm (or deny)?

According to RTT It appears to be formed off the stock off 1A14 10.53 Bristol - Padd

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/C55531/2019/03/10/advanced

the ECS for which comes from St Phillips Marsh HST depot:

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/C50728/2019/03/10/advanced

So it would appear to be an HST - usual disclaimers apply!

I just saw that and have checked the STP for this Sunday and yes both those workings are on an HST diagram.

Expect the unexpected with the weekend diagrams. We're still several weeks away from "lasts" over all routes. Due to the nature of engineering works going on and the ongoing IET / HST balancing requirements the diagrams are unlikely to look anything like the LTP for the next couple of months.

Bear in mind that for Cheltenham week, there are no additional HSTs out on Cheltenham additionals, but to free up a 9 car IET IW8 (SX) is booked to work the following. This is for one week only:

1A06:
WSM (06:18) > PAD (08:44)
1C08:
PAD (09:30) > BRI (11:09)
1A16:
BRI (12:00) > PAD (13:40)
1B42:
PAD (14:15) > CDF (16:22)
1L82:
CDF (16:56) > PAD (19:07)
1C28:
PAD (19:30) > WSM (21:53)

1A13 0946 WSM - PAD is out as HST, 43189 + 43098.

It then goes on to work:
- 1B35 1235 PAD - PTA
- 1L82 1611 PTA - PAD
- 1C29 2005 PAD - WSM
- 2M76 2248 WSM - BRI

And also can confirm, 1A14 1053 BRI - PAD is HST too (43156 + 43018), then onto:

- 1W39 1337 PAD - WOF
- 1P69 1627 WOF - PAD
- 1C28 1927 PAD - BRI

I don't want to be annoying, but does anyone know if the HSTs have ended on the Cotswold Line (Oxford - Hereford)?
Thanks.

There has been a set swap at Paddington - 022 and 088 are now the power cars on the above.
Glad I managed to pick up the original set between Swindon and Didcot in that case. Had a slight double take when it pulled into Oxford and it wasn't either 156 or 018 leading.

Went out to see it today and yes - a HST! Probably the last one up the Cotswold Line.*

*If it isn't, please tell me ASAP!

-Peter

There was talk on the train of the same service being an HST in two Sundays time - how true this is I don't know.

Oh OK. Thank you very much for this information - I'll do as much research as I can to see if it will be a HST. However, I'll probably only be able to get this sort of information from the TOPS Requests subforum on the day.

At Shrub Hill I was told by a GWR chap (poss a driver who had just brought it from Paddington) that they are hoping Sunday 31st March will be a HST for the service as far as Foregate Street and they are retaining 6 sets to cover events like Glastonbury etc
Obviously this might change.
Here’s a pic of the rear power car 43088 on IP69 on 10th March heading to Paddington.

Thanks. I'll do some research into this.
If they're keeping sets for Glastonbury, surely this means that we'll be seeing HSTs on the Cotswold Line for a while yet?...
