The news has broken then...
Also on WNXX forum
It is reported that another is going to join 204 also, possibly for GWR to replace unavailable 313 units that were to be supplied for those 387 units going to Heathrow Express. Not sure how true this is
313s for GWR? They seem a tad unsuitable.
When I saw the rumours on WNXX, in my head, I had them going to London Overground for Romford - Upminster services releasing a 315.

Why would GWR want such old units? are you sure you don't mean GN for the Moorgate service pending the full introduction of 717's?Also on WNXX forum

I read it (the 313 to GWR that is....) as purely to be used for static training purposes (as current use of a Mk2 was mentioned).....the quote I saw was something like '313's in Devon will be novel', presumably as the layout is like similar to a 150??
Is the plan for these units to have all gone by the May timetable change then?
Any idea what this new role will be? Translator vehicles perhaps?204 looks to be best bet at moment, as it going to continue in another roll down south
Dont think one will be preserved in Scotland
Angel Trains publicised the fact that at least one unit would be available for preservation if a serious bid were to be made but whether or not one will actually be preserved is another matter and if I were a betting man I’d be putting all my money on ‘not’.I wonder which one will be preserved. I always thought 201 would have been the candidate. 203 would be a good one to preserve as it has the carriage of a 507 too.

Any sign of 314204 popping up anywhere up?
Here’s a clue: which issue of the magazine is it in?https://www.railwaymagazine.co.uk/former-scotrail-class-314s-heading-for-goblin-work/
Railway magazine is reporting that 5 Class 314s are to be used on Gospel Oak to Barking services.
It’s absolute nonsense peddled by “Informed Sources” on Twitter but they didn’t intend it as April 1, just took it hook line and sinker. Largely from other TOC staff too. 710 introduction is finally in near sight. Here’s a clue: which issue of the magazine is it in?

Looks like 208 might have been stopped now.
