Can anyone please tell me if an "Any Permitted" ticket from London Terminals to Peterborough can be used to travel via Cambridge please?

Welcome to the forum. That is indeed absolutely fine.

You can go from Kings Cross via Hitchin and Royston to Cambridge. You can also go from Liverpool Street via Bishops Stortford to Cambridge. There are also a few other loops you can travel; ask if you would like details.
