I'm having some difficulty with the Virgin (and other TOCs) booking sites for trains to and from Euston. I know the usual booking horizon is 12 weeks (although Virgin's website claims 24) and can vary a little, but the current advance fares seem to have been stuck on either 22nd or 23rd July since the end of April. There's also a weird period on 5th and 6th August where they have released advance fares, but not between the 23rd July (ish) until there

Is there something going on that's delaying those tickets coming out? I could understand if this was an engineering thing that hasn't been published but:
  1. Both NRE and the Virgin Sites have the engineering works published up to 9th August; and,
  2. While there is engineering work for a period at the end of July, it doesn't affect this route, and includes dates on which the advance fares are available.
Is this a browser problem I'm having or is there something else anyone can think of for why they haven't come out yet?

I thought it was strange that I was able to book an Advance ticket today (Wigan to Glasgow) for 6th August, but not one to return on 8th. They usually release full weeks at a time.

I just put it down to one of Virgin's blips and trust it will be resolved in due course.

Could be due to Acton Grange Junction closure.
Glasgow trains are being combined with the Manchester services
There are advance singles out on some of the dates of that closure though (20th to 23rd July)

Have now managed to book for 8th August so they must have loaded some new ones.
