No promises, but service permitting I will try and post up relevant information on Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings if that will help any of you. (Hope there's no start up issues on the C&H!)

Thanks; Thursday would be the most useful to me as I could check up until late afternoon.

For Saturday morning I wouldn't be able to access it - I don't have internet access on my mobile.

Kite of course would find Friday extremely useful... :)

Currently on H&C T265, so should stable at Hammersmith tonight.

So... hopefully either on H&C or Circle tomorrow?

Meaning that unless there is a specific diagram number posted on here tomorrow then a fester at Edgware Road may pay dividends?

train 265 stabled at Hammersmith s booked.
Unfortunately, at 06.10 all trains have entered service this morning and 21547/48 isn't one of them.

Drat. I'll check again late afternoon just in case.

Edited to add.

No update? Advantage Kite!

I've just brought 21547/8 out of Hammersmith sidings to run as T175 tonight - unlucky! It'll be leaving Hammersmith at 2331 to run the last Circle line train, then to King's Cross.

Barring no perturbations over the next couple of hours this train will stable in Edgware Road siding and form T202 tomorrow - Circle lines all day until stabling in Neasden at 0112.

If all of this happens uninterrupted, it is likely that the unit will work T216 on Saturday - again, Circles.

Time for me to do some research...

*A few minutes later*

By my reckoning it should be gettable, roughly 16:50 from Gloucester Road

at 16.50 T202 21547/48 was heading EB at King's Cross, went into Moorgate pfm.3 arr. 17.00.
"shortage of train operators"
departed Moorgate pfm.3 17.25
will be Hammersmith pfm.2 on time 17.55

...and duly bashed at 06.55 from Edgware Road to Farringdon after the Sleeper got in to Euston 40 early even with a ( required! :D ) 92 on the front.

I had a spy watching this thread and he texted me the diagram 216 gen last night... ;)

My thanks to Dstock7080 for confirming things each morning - we had some hectic start ups so I didn't get chance to confirm myself!

Pleased to see you both managed to get the unit - for completeness, it was reformed today into 217 for a period, but returned onto 216 2241 (and caused me quite a bit of extra work!).

Could i ask Dstock7080 for the allocation of 21385/21386 for tomorrow (Oct 5th) please? My last S7 for haulage. I'm in London from mid day onwards.
Thank you kindly.

Just out of interest, do you ride in each car in order to clear a unit for haulage?

That way lies madness, riding each car. Whatever next? Each seat, forwards and backwards, Mondays only?

Someone I know is travelling back across London from France to Crewe this evening and has a bit of time available in London; he requires 21535/6* to clear the whole Underground. Would anyone know if it is running today, please, and if so in which diagram?

*Someone did post either on here or on a Yahoogroup that it was back in service just one week after the incident in which it was involved so presumably it is around?

With over 110 S Stock trains successfully returned to Derby for ATC/CBTC fitment it has been the turn of the remaining two S7+1 trains.

The second S7+1 21323/24 returned to Ruislip on 14 August as a 7-car, M2D car 25384 has been removed and remained at Derby. The train returned without ATC fitment.

The last S7+1 21327/28 arrived at Derby on 13 August.
Extra M2D car 25386 was removed and sent to LTMuseum Depot on 5 September by road!
21327/28 arrived back in London 12 September, as an S7 fitted for ATC.
Standard S7 21567/68 was the additional train built to balance this for use on Circle/District/H&C.

21323/24 was sent back to Derby for ATC fitment on 22 May and the very last S7 to be converted 21551/52 departed on 25 May.

21323/24 is to have M2D 25386 reinserted while at Derby and to be returned as an 8-car S7+1 for Metropolitan Line service. 25386 has been moved by road from LT Museum Acton to Derby.

The last converted S7 train is expected to return to London on 14 June.

So there is now zero risk of a non-CBTC-equipped District line train accidentally making its way to SMA 1 & 2?

That must be a quiet relief for the commissioning team!
