Well that’s the medical completed. Slight scare as the Doc identified an abnormal heart beat which had to be sent off to the cardiologist to analyse. Update today that heartbeat is ok, phew :)
Great news....good to hear. Probably a fault on their machine re the heart rhythm.

In fairness it was right at the end so everything else had been fine. I would have been interested to see my blood pressure if it needed to be taken at the end instead!!

I was nearly late as my GWR train was cancelled and the railway was having a shocker of a morning. The irony was not lost on me!!!

Haha, I drove just in case. Did you have it in Swindon?

Plymouth.

Just a waiting game now to see if any offer appears!
You’ve had a medical so have got the job pending references basically. You should have had a conditional offer prior to the medical?

Yeah I did but no confirmed start date on it, so can’t hand my notice in yet.
I had a verbal offer before the conditional offer where a course date was mentioned. The conditional offer is as good as a job offer, however I chose not to hand my notice in until I had my formal offer at the least (I think I waited for my contract in the end - I had plenty of time to play with as I got the offer a good 2.5 months before the course date they offered). I appreciate some have to give extended notice periods or have proposed course dates not too far in advance though.

I've just had my DMI interview date confirmed - 16 July.

Quite a wait - as with everything in this process haha

I thought all course up to October were filled, wonder I guess they must be spaces on other courses before and they are filling them as and when.

I had already been verbally offered 12th August after my DMI, this was just the official offer.

For me it was very quick.

13 March - Successful email
14 March - Invite to DMI

My MMI and DMI were within 2 to 3 weeks of each other and I found out the results the day after. It's just now that I'm in the talent pool for HEX the waiting has really begun! I would love to know roughly how long I should expect to wait before hearing about a course. It's been 3 weeks and I can't stop checking my phone
