I have as well although the ICT part may trip me up
My understanding is that all TOCs, FOCs, the RSSB etc have all agreed to trainee driver training as a level 3 apprenticeship now by the National Skills Academy for Rail (NSAR).
Not having a GCSE in English, Math or ICT isn’t a deal breaker but you will Be expected to complete the equivalent qualification “level 2” before the final part of the apprenticeship which I think will take around a year to complete give or take. Essentially the same time as previously for trainees. I found this:
Qualifications
Apprentices without Level 2 English, maths and ICT will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.
For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeships English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3 and British Sign Language qualification are an alternative to English qualifications for whom this is their primary language.
