Railcard exchange from paper to m ticket

I’ve got a paper Network Railcard so is it possible to exchange it for a M ticket?

I wasn’t aware of the choice when I brought it online so am I stuck with the paper ticket or can I get it exchanged?

Because I already use m ticketing for buses so makes sense to do same for rail travel.

I’ve had to apply for two replacement Disabled Rail Cards in recent years, one I lost, one was stolen.

It wouldn’t have happened had it all been in my phone, (that’s just a back up away).
