Thanks guys, I will give that a go. Might explain why I've burned through my mobile data so quickly this month...
I'm finding wi-fi on the 444s and 450s increasingly unreliable - it actually works only about 50% of the time for me.

Either there's no wi-fi signal at all, or there's a signal but my 'phone can't obtain an IP address (the most common problem), or I log in only to be taken to the 'register' screen - and attempting to re-register, just get sent back to the register screen...

If you can't get moley's suggestion to work, following getting onto SWR Steam, type in the URL http://swr.on.icomera.com/
Does it also put a Merchant Navy on the front for you? :)
More seriously, I've more or less given up trying to log in to wi-fi on 450s. My phone shows as connected, but I can't get to a login screen. For months now I've just used my own data, though that doesn't work everywhere along the Direct either.

444022 (unit 22) was released from Eastleigh 12-6-19.
444009 (unit 23) went to Eastleigh 13-6-19.
.
Also on site are:
450002 (unit 48) arr 10-6-19
450078 (unit 49) arr 12-6-19
.
450543 was released from Eastleigh this afternoon. This unit still carries the number 543 but will become 043 in due course.
.
The 10 car 442 diagram introduced last Monday has not allowed for any increase in units going for refurbishment at present.
Until further Class 442 units are in traffic, the programme remains one 444 and two 450s.
.
159015 (unit 16) travelled from Salisbury to Loughborough 12-6-19, joining 159017 (unit 15) which has been on site since 13-5-19.
.
Hope this helps.

I found an article stating that SWR launches a free streaming service https://www.southwesternrailway.com/other/news-and-media/news/2019/june/welcome-aboard-swrstream, I'm assuming this means all Desiros now have upgraded WiFi (although for some it doesn't seem to work) and Infotainment?
I'm not sure they've all got it - I seem to have seen the old-style log in page very recently.

Don't want to be too negative, but I'd've preferred lots of train information on the front page - most importantly showing whether the train I'm on is running late and so on - rather than lots of links to TV programmes...

But most of all, I'd like to be able to connect to the wifi and internet reliably in the first place :)

Been on 450543 this evening, seating layout the same as other refurbished 450s but the bins in the vestibules that were removed when they became 450/5s have not been replaced.

Is this just interior at the moment then?

So part of the refurb is putting back first class and changing the numbers, okay.

Arnt there already units numbered 450/0 ?
No, in 2008, SWT decided to take 28 of the 450s and convert them to High Capacity interiors; this involved removing first class, removing some seats and extra handrails provided. Therefore they were renumbered 450/5s.

But later on, in anticipation of the 458s, they all had first class reinstated, however they still retain their 4505XX numbers because they still have extra handrails and fewer seats.

As part of the Desiro refurbishment now, 450/5s will be converted back to 450/0 interiors; extra handrails will be removed and extra seats reinstated.

Well, I tried the suggestions regarding the wi-fi. Using the URL kinda-sorta worked. There is definitely nothing whatsoever on either of the new landing pages to allow selection of wi-fi; the only controls are the "Continue" buttons.

But then half of the Portsmouth Direct line is this mysterious cellular dead zone, so it doesn't work even when you can get connected.

(Seriously, I get zero bars in Liphook, and never more than 2-3 between Havant and Woking ever.)

Anything north of Finchdean towards Buriton and you’re out of luck until you appear the other side of the tunnel.

The rest of it is hit and miss, but I find areas such as Weybridge to be just as bad.

This is similar approaching Farnborough Main on the down line, no signal for approx 2 to 3 miles, then as you enter the station the signal from zero to four bars is imminent.

I’ve never had issues between Pirbright and Farnborough, in fact I’ve had data there before as we were running slow and I managed to check the signalling maps to see some sort of Pullman special was in front of us.

444040 (the SWR-reliveried one) is currently sporting a "D-DAY STORY" nameplate.

It was named at Portsmouth Harbour on the morning of the D Day 75 commemorations and is currently sat at Fratton.

I did include the ones at Eastleigh in the done list.

On site at Eastleigh are:
444008 arr 3-5-19 (unit 18)
444005 arr 13-5-19 (unit 19)

450010 arr 4-5-19 (unit 39)
450117 since 7-5-19 (unit 40)
450073 since 9-5-19 (unit 41).

Next one, 450013 (unit 42) due in tonight and 450010 due out.
.
You said 450013 was done then but it's being done again?

It is really rare to find any trains with the new livery.:(
I once saw a class 158 strippy colour.
