It's been sold on to another company (not sure who) for mainline testing work (not sure what or where).

It’s currently at Burton.

Oh and 11074 is not a Trailer First, it’s a First Open.

Thanks. Oh I always thought they were TF's or is that for HST Mk3's or not at all.

HST vehicles are generally known as trailers hence the "T" vehicle code. Loco-hauled Mk3s are not trailers.

Therefore a full First HST trailer is a TF (Trailer First), while the loco-hauled equivalent is a FO (First Open).

Thanks Chief. That clears that up.

Can anyone confirm whether 11074 was one of those that had been painted into the prototype livery? If so then there must’ve been a good reason for selling it on?

Yes, 11074 was one of those repainted. And, yes, there are good reasons for selling it on.

Thanks. Do you know if the 125 Group plans on repainting the rest of their coaches? Although I suppose that there’s probably more pressing things to be spending money on at the moment!

As 43096 states, the best way to get updates on all this is becoming a member: https://www.125group.org.uk/become-a-125-group-member/

I believe there will be a small amount of info on 11074's departure in the next members magazine...
