Yarm to Eaglesciffe.. But then they're two adjacent stations with no service that normally calls at both!

Burnley Manchester Road (BYM) to Burnley Barracks (BUB).

The Trainline suggests walking to Burnley Central (0.8mi according to Apple Maps), then catching a train to BUB.

However, the direct walk from BYM to BUB is only 0.6mi...

Newark Castle to Newark Northgate. NR recommends a (rather gentle) 28 minute walk.
Nope, sorry, there is a valid fare from Newark Castle to Newark Northgate, £2.70 - only valid on the 22:57 to Lincoln, which calls at Castle and Northgate (double reversal for Lincoln).

Wedgwood to Barlaston! I don’t know what the situation is now, but I know when Bakers did the X1 replacement bus, there was no bus fare between the two either!

Yeovil Pen Mill to Dorchester is interesting, you can only get a ticket to "Dorchester stations", not to Dorchester South.
Route any permitted - so what would be permitted? Down to Weymouth and back? Or via Westbury/Salisbury/Southampton/Dorchester South?
Or just direct to Dorchester West?

Falkirk High and Falkirk Grahamston. They’re about a 25 minute walk apart too.

You can't - there is no fare defined for the journey. If you turned up and were adamant about making the journey, you'd probably get sold either a return to Partick or a single from Argyle Street to High Street

Very surprised to see fares available between Sanderstead and Purley Oaks, and between Whyteleafe and Upper Warlingham.

The only fares available for this are Travelcards, so I don't think it really qualifies - it's no different to a rover or ranger being a valid ticket option, which is clearly not what the OP is after.

I am, however, equally surprised that there are fares from Sanderstead to Purley Oaks.

If you are travelling via Maiden Newton, then just to Dorchester West. I haven't checked if the super-circuitous route via Poole is valid, though I rather doubt it.
