One must assume so,awaiting parts or whatever.Haymarket is short of space with these hst sets,401 has been dumped well out of the road.
It has been at Haymarket shed since the 15th of May.I could've sworn I saw 401 out on Monday working with another unit into Edinburgh at about 0820.

Still there am I right and saying that unit was the first 170 in Scotland I kind taking it for my job when the unit first came in 1997. A nice Dundee to Edinburgh where I met my now wife how times change eh.
402 was the first ScotRail unit to arrive in the country (as a two car) in 1999 with 401 following a couple of weeks later (as a four car with 402’s centre car).Still there am I right and saying that unit was the first 170 in Scotland I kind taking it for my job when the unit first came in 1997. There have been a few operated as 2 cars over the years. Also a few mix-n-match sets using vehicles from two different units combined.
Don’t forget Porterbrook’s one off speculative 2 car 170399 which NatEx leased for a while.
If memory serves that was an all white livery.Don’t forget Porterbrook’s one off speculative 2 car 170399 which NatEx leased for a while.
No and no.is it the case the rail safety cert expired or is it the case it has been forgot about.
What became of that unit in the end?Don’t forget Porterbrook’s one off speculative 2 car 170399 which NatEx leased for a while.

Now 168329.Renumbered 170309, went to TransPennine Express and I assume was one of the units converted to 168s now with Chiltern.
