How about making tickets to/from Lowestoft valid to/from Gt Yarmouth? That way people can go to Lowestoft, get a bus to Gt Yarmouth and then a train home from there without having to either return to Lowestoft or buy a ticket to Reedham/Brundall?
I think you'll find most conductors are absolutely fine with that. Happens a lot with missed connections where the passenger can get a lift from the alternative line.

Finally don’t forget border control when passing between Suffolk and Norfolk ;)
Last I heard the seasonal border closure will be suspended from this autumn until such time as Norwich are relegated and/or Ipswich are promoted?
Could be a while (in the case of the latter) :(

Possibly next year. Depends on how the re-signalling progresses. A weedkilling train went along part of the branch not too long ago.

Now Staplehurst (?) has been commissioned and all is ok with that, Norwich to Yarmouth, is picking up the pace again, there are contractors back in the PSB kitting out / wiring the workstations, last we heard there is a long block in Feb, rather than 3 shortish ones, then brought into use End Feb / Early March.

Do you mean stage 1 of Feltham? (Shepperton branch). That uses the same Electrologix interlocking.
