I wish them luck with their application but I hope they have enough IETs to cover the additional services unless the plan is to run more frequent but shorter trains on the primary London-Bristol services.
I am sure that the Bristol to London via Bristol Parkway services will be 5 coach trains off-peak.

Can't see many changes on the WCML except that the Fridays only 1846 Euston - Preston has an extra stop at Milton Keynes, and is extended through to Blackpool.

They had better get Sunday part of the working week pretty pronto if that is the case!
Very unlikely to be before December. The proposal for drivers that was rejected last week wouldn't have even come into force until next year anyway, so I doubt any new proposal would come in sooner, and they haven't even approached the guards!

Been told via my MP that Greater Anglia will be going hourly on Sundays on Ipswich to Cambridge line with "other timetable changes which were delayed from May 2019"

I think you will be looking at either May or even December 2020 for that now. Will be no Stansted extensions for the Norwich route until then either. Doubt the MPs are up to speed with things.

That's a very good & pretty simple move, just a shame it's FO. There where calls for the 17:57 to divert to Blackpool rather than Lancaster to provide a later direct service to the Fylde coast.

Anybody know what ScotRail changes are expected?

Always found the west coast could also do with a later southbound (even just to Preston) and an earlier northbound for arrivals around 8.

The WCML really does need earlier northbound trains... crazy to think you can get the 0426 Glasgow - London and be in London before the first northbound VT (which only comes from Crewe) is even in Glasgow

Oh no, there was me hoping to get some improvement to the timings between Ipswich and Cambridge North, especially the big gap first thing in the morning at ideal commuting time, which causes big delays if missed, it's cancelled, or short formed.

I am not sure if any of the threads have indicated this before now, but at the GTR Meet the Manager this morning at St. Pancras (including coffee and cereal bar / fruit - which was nice of them), I was advised that the joining up of the Welwyn Garden City to King's Cross and the Blackfriars to Sevenoaks services will not now happen in the December 2019 timetable and will not start until at least the May 2020 timetable and that this was subject to the completion of testing and training on the ATO system through the core.

I got the impression that there were even more outstanding issues to be resolved before extending the Cambridge to King's Cross slow trains to Maidstone and reaching the full 24 tph Thameslink Core service. Apart from indicating that this was unlikely to be in the December 2020 timetable, no date was offered...

I'm still expecting Stansted to Norwich all week and Ipswich to Cambridge hourly on Sundays in December.

I notice that there is a 2101 TPExpress from Glasgow to Preston - slight improvement I suppose in later WCML service.

Not sure if there’s a balancing morning journey.

The first northbound train is however now the 0500 from Manchester Piccadilly, not the 0557 from Crewe. This has been the case for some time - I think this service was introduced in 2014.

Chasing it through realtimetrains I suspect after an overnight rest it carries on southwards. If I’m right it forms an early ECS to Lancaster then enters service to Manchester Airport?

Cooksbridge (Southern - East Coastway) is getting an hourly service M-F from December, and a Saturday service for the first time in years/decades/ever (?)

At present, there’s a long break (Up and Down) in weekday calls from approx. 11.00 to 15.00, and Cooksbridge is one of very few stations unserved on Saturday.

Transport for Wales timetables are now mostly online, including the new expanded North-South Wales LHCS service in place of the Manchester LHCS service. This has resulted in some weird stopping patterns throughout the day. New LHCS diagrams are shown below:

1V91 0534 Holyhead to Cardiff Central
1V96 1230ish Holyhead to Cardiff Central (Not in system yet)
1V98 1651 Holyhead to Cardiff Central

1W91 0702 Cardiff Central to Holyhead
1W93 1124 Cardiff Central to Holyhead
1W96 1716 Cardiff Central to Holyhead

The Winter Sunday service on the Conwy Valley line is up too
That looks like quite a good sunday timetable. 4tpd is impressive, especially when compered to the current Summer Sunday timetable of 3tpd.
Whilst looking at Sunday services in Wales, it looks like there are to be some improvements for Sunday services on the Cambrian Coast, too. 5 tpd instead of the current 1tpd in Winter and 3 in Summer :)

East Midlands Trains and South Western Railway are also now uploaded to RTT - presumably in full.

The Barton-on-Humber line has not been included as part of EM. Can we read anything into this about the transfer date being pushed back again?

A quick look at SWR Waterloo - Reading service, shows the same 2tph timetable as now. Has the 4tph timetable been dropped or postponed until a later date?
