Brilliant. Thanks. Others also drop coaches at Kilmarnock.

1. The traction is electric
2. The origin is served by 1 TOC
3. The destination has 3 platforms
4. The service runs the same number of times in each direction

I imagine the number in each direction is the same for Ascot to Aldershot (450), so I'm going to guess that

I've only checked the journey I've thought of, so I don't know. It isn't that.

2. The origin is served by 1 TOC
3. The destination has 3 platforms
4. The service runs the same number of times in each direction

Looks like this game (and the Name the Station game) have run out of steam.
I'll post one more clue, then give the answer if no guesses after the weekend.

1. The origin station has 3 platforms.
2. The destination station has 3 platforms.
3. Journey time is longer than 2 hours.
4. The rolling stock does not have a pantograph.
5. This journey travels through the territory of a single TOC.

6. The journey is entirely within England and does not start, end or pass through any of the major metropolitan cities.
7. There is just one through journey per day (6 days per week), and no equivalent working in the reverse direction.
8. Two of the three letters in the origin's 3-letter station code do not appear anywhere in the station's full, current name.
