It's made very difficult by trainline's poor user interface on Northern's website. You can try this:Can anyone tell a way to see and book all the 10p seats over say a week (like easyjet/ryanair)
Using the regular search engines it is geting to be a haystack search as less tickets are left to sell
At the bottom of the results page, it says "click here to check if slower routes with cheaper tickets are available."
Then click on "Check for trains" alongside the 10p fare and they will come up where available.
I also noticed it didn't produce "all day" results, so sometimes, there is a need to run the enquiry a few times with different times. Likewise, I haven't noticed any option for "Northern trains only" on the website. It's made very difficult by trainline's poor user interface on Northern's website. You can try this:
This should work for the whole day, but be warned! It doesn't always - especially if your journey requires a change of trains. The mobile version of the site allows 'Northern trains only' to be selected which helps. Is this an option on the desktop site? I can't find it.
I agree that searching quite a few times through the day is the only real way to be sure you haven't missed anything. If the journey requires a change of trains, breaking it down into separate parts might help you see where some availability is.I also noticed it didn't produce "all day" results, so sometimes, there is a need to run the enquiry a few times with different times.
This is quite frustrating, because it is definitely there on their app and the mobile version of the same website. The West Midlands Trains website is also provided by trainline, and that does have an option in the desktop 'mode' to search only for WMT services.Likewise, I haven't noticed any option for "Northern trains only" on the website.
60! blimey. What a result for The Scouts
How long did it take to pump them out?
LNER staff must have thought something had gone wrong with the TVM, or won the jackpot or something; which you did in way!
I was midway between 10 and 60 l only had 29 codes to put in so did it in stages at stations l was waiting for my trainI was working the machine for ages it felt like I never like those touch screen interfaces. I had about ten booking codes to type in as well!
EMR ticket machines can't seem to comprehend 10p tickets, a 'technical error' prevented me from collecting them from both Chesterfield and Sheffield station. Could collect them at Rotherham Central though.
The flash sale has now ended. 80,000 10p tickets are now in the hands of lucky customers since they went on sale on 19 August.
All tickets now sold out for the 10p offer. Thanks Northern, I've booked 8 trips for September. Much appreciated.

Just booked Leeds to Nottingham and back for 20p. Quite chuffed, the whole trip will cost just over a tenner (extra cost of weekly season to CHF compared to my usual day return combination for commute - makes sense if doing an extra day, plus a CHF to LDS SDR, plus 20p). Incidentally I've cost Northern a pretty penny, paid PayPal (which I usually hate) and got my tickets sent first class post for free!
I wonder what happens if I claim for delay repay should I get delayed. It'd be worth it just to annoy them having to give me a few pence!
Does Northern's automatic Delay Repay system offer the option of free tickets? I've bought more 10p tickets than I'm going to use so some of them generating free tickets would be handy! If it ended up being long enough you'd be eligible for free Northern tickets...
Still LIV -> NLW 10p tickets available!
This sale sounds brilliant shame I live in the London area, would love to go on trips for under £1

However you can only claim delay repay if you actually make the journey and are delayed. Submitting a claim when you haven’t travelled would be a mid-representation.
How will their automatic delay repay system know if you've travelled?
just been having a look, still plenty of 10p tickets for all sorts of journeys
Do you have a link please? All's I get is this page.. https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/sale
Ignore the sale page and look for tickets on there as normal, there are still 10p tickets. Problem is, you can no longer see the flows from each station.
Cheers. I wonder why I was getting the 'Sold Out' page? I'm happy with the tickets I've purchased but it's nice to know there's still others available. Thanks again to Northern.
That's why I asked about automatic Delay Repay.Free tickets would be given if you are sufficiently delayed.

You do have to travel on Northern rail, though. Carrier bag to sit on is an extra 5p. Some weekends it may also be BYOTD (bring your own train driver). This sale sounds brilliant shame I live in the London area, would love to go on trips for under £1
This is true, I just got a return Liverpool Lime St to Blackpool North, so my dad can join me on a day out.Ignore the sale page and look for tickets on there as normal, there are still 10p tickets. Problem is, you can no longer see the flows from each station.
