Can anyone tell a way to see and book all the 10p seats over say a week (like easyjet/ryanair)

Using the regular search engines it is geting to be a haystack search as less tickets are left to sell

I'm "reet" chuffed with these - picked up half a dozen or so already! There are still a few today - wonder how crowded trains will be with people using this amazing offer?!

It's made very difficult by trainline's poor user interface on Northern's website. You can try this:
At the bottom of the results page, it says "click here to check if slower routes with cheaper tickets are available."
Then click on "Check for trains" alongside the 10p fare and they will come up where available.

This should work for the whole day, but be warned! It doesn't always - especially if your journey requires a change of trains. The mobile version of the site allows 'Northern trains only' to be selected which helps. Is this an option on the desktop site? I can't find it.

I also noticed it didn't produce "all day" results, so sometimes, there is a need to run the enquiry a few times with different times. Likewise, I haven't noticed any option for "Northern trains only" on the website.

That said, I was impressed that it yielded positive results for Manchester Airport to York, with two changes. I now know they do Advance fares for that, too (and how to buy them!), so the flash sale has been a worthwhile marketing tool from that perspective, too.

I agree that searching quite a few times through the day is the only real way to be sure you haven't missed anything. If the journey requires a change of trains, breaking it down into separate parts might help you see where some availability is.

This is quite frustrating, because it is definitely there on their app and the mobile version of the same website. The West Midlands Trains website is also provided by trainline, and that does have an option in the desktop 'mode' to search only for WMT services.

I wonder if regular passengers that travel to and from Sheffield and Manchester will cope with a Pacer if it means hugely less money than packed TPE Class 185's and EMR 15x stock!

60! blimey. What a result for The Scouts :)
How long did it take to pump them out?
LNER staff must have thought something had gone wrong with the TVM, or won the jackpot or something; which you did in way!

I was working the machine for ages it felt like I never like those touch screen interfaces. I had about ten booking codes to type in as well!

EMR ticket machines can't seem to comprehend 10p tickets, a 'technical error' prevented me from collecting them from both Chesterfield and Sheffield station. Could collect them at Rotherham Central though.

Collected my tickets from Liverpool Lime St just now ( as Southport has no ToD) machine.
There are 29 tickets of which 12 are voids/Not Valid For Travel !
Interestingly Southport to Halifax has 5 tickets 2 on the way out (Southport to Halifax ticket and Rochdale to Halifax ticket but on the way back I have 3 - Halifax to Southport, Halifax to Rochdale and Rochdale to Southport) - anyone know why I have an uneven number of tickets ?
Thanks

I collected 10 x 10p tickets from Sheffield earlier today without any problrm (other than having to enter 10 collection codes even though I had booked in one transaction !)

Just booked Leeds to Nottingham and back for 20p. Quite chuffed, the whole trip will cost just over a tenner (extra cost of weekly season to CHF compared to my usual day return combination for commute - makes sense if doing an extra day, plus a CHF to LDS SDR, plus 20p). Incidentally I've cost Northern a pretty penny, paid PayPal (which I usually hate) and got my tickets sent first class post for free!

I wonder what happens if I claim for delay repay should I get delayed. It'd be worth it just to annoy them having to give me a few pence!

If it ended up being long enough you'd be eligible for free Northern tickets...
Does Northern's automatic Delay Repay system offer the option of free tickets? I've bought more 10p tickets than I'm going to use so some of them generating free tickets would be handy!

Greater manchester.
I have bought 8 returns from Piccadilly to Blackpool north.
6 returns from Piccadilly to grange over sands.
6 returns from Piccadilly to lime street.
8 returns from Victoria to Southport.
Thank you northern, You are giving many pensioners a day out at a nearby sheltered housing complex.

Free tickets would be given if you are sufficiently delayed.

However you can only claim delay repay if you actually make the journey and are delayed. Submitting a claim when you haven’t travelled would be a mid-representation.

How will their automatic delay repay system know if you've travelled?

Ignore the sale page and look for tickets on there as normal, there are still 10p tickets. Problem is, you can no longer see the flows from each station.

Cheers. I wonder why I was getting the 'Sold Out' page? I'm happy with the tickets I've purchased but it's nice to know there's still others available. Thanks again to Northern.

I did as well from the link above, I just searched from the homepage instead. No idea what is left in terms of numbers though.

You do have to travel on Northern rail, though. Carrier bag to sit on is an extra 5p. Some weekends it may also be BYOTD (bring your own train driver).

This is true, I just got a return Liverpool Lime St to Blackpool North, so my dad can join me on a day out.
