Yep and have specific rail experience and be able to start next month! I'm sure there will be some people who tick all the required boxes but I'm not one of them

That’ll certainly be a natural sift I’d imagine.

Yeah there will still be plenty of people who can apply. Given the amount of companies that require enhanced passes there will be plenty unfortunate not to get that kind of pass that will be all over this.

Well the jobs weren't there first thing yesterday morning but were there 5 minutes before I posted it yesterday afternoon/evening, so I'm thinking a typing error.

I'm not sure - it only says 'must have passed...' although what constitutes an enhanced pass seems to vary from company to company anyway

Interestingly this vacancy is still live - although the closing date was 26th August.

Wonder if they had many applicants? Quite difficult to image someone who has passed all their assessments, has railway ground staff experience and available to start at very short notice!

Sorry to hear that mate. But I suppose that's this job in a nutshell.....doesn't matter how experienced we are etc there's always something or someone better suited.

We've all reaped the benefits of that approach at some point though I guess.
