'Latest Alerts' is showing a post submitted to this thread by 'LMS 4F' at 22:03 last night, but it hasn't appeared. Any ideas why not?

Is there an updated list of 195 diagrams please?

Monday to Friday diagrams (almost complete) can be found in posts 1 (the seven original diagrams, effective 1/7/19) and 304 (the additional five, effective 12/8/19) of the 195 Initial Diagrams thread.
https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/northern-class-195-initial-diagrams.185017/
Saturday diagrams can be found in post 116 (six of the original seven, effective 6/7/19), and post 201 (an additional diagram, thought to have also been effective 6/7/19). The additional five diagrams, effective 17/8/19, are not currently recorded on the said thread, but they differ very little from the corresponding Monday to Friday diagrams. Sunday diagrams can be found in post 116 (three of the original four, effective 7/7/19), and post 203 (an additional diagram, thought to have also been effective 7/7/19). An additional five diagrams went 195-operated from 18/8/19, but those are not currently recorded on the Initial Diagrams thread.

This is what has been reported on the '195: Initial Diagrams' thread. There does seem to be some scepticism that it will happen, though.

York Press reports that 195 introductions (with a picture of a 331) are to begin on Monday on Blackpool services. https://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/17880006.northern-launches-new-trains-york/

195 001 on its own on the 1O42 0709
LIV-MCO stopper rammed to bursting (usually a double 150 or Pacer combo) and skipped it's Irlam stop. Guess they didn't have enough in service yet to put on a double but pretty poor showing. That is the one flaw in not being able to couple to their old stock but is a 2 coach 195 better? It was 10 late at Birchwood but then only 2 minutes late into Oxford Road, their good acceleration helping I'm sure.

The 0709 ex-Lime Street isn't a stopper, it's a semi-fast, hence the Class 1 designation. It's been booked for 2x195/0 since 12/8/19, but up to now it's as often been a single 195/1. A single 195/0 has been almost unknown.
The stopper is 0719 ex-Lime Street, that is the one which I suggest is diagrammed for a four-car Sprinter or Sprinter/Pacer.

I saw the 2 carriage 195 001 at Lime Street on Monday and Tuesday and wondered what they were going to put it on.

I noticed that it was slightly longer than the 2 carriage 150 in the adjacent platform, but couldn't help but wonder if they both had the same passenger capacity.

The 195 seating layout is 2+2 with more legroom than the 150 with 2+3 seating and less legroom.

Coincidentally, I got a 3 carriage 195 from Liverpool to Manchester on Saturday and it was standing room only for many people, who also had suitcases as they were probably going to Man Airport.

Fortunately I got one of the fold down seats by the doors, but couldn't help thinking "this really should be 4 carriages"!

You are right, they had switched the stopper to platform 5, and 195 001 formed the 0912 semi-fast. I did think the assignment of the bay platform was arbitrary at that time of the morning, surely the stopper should always use the bay but the train forming the 0912 is usually in the way.
Are 195s not allowed to use the bay platform then? It made sense not to bother clearing them when the Oxford Road remodeling/Piccadilly platform 15/16 was still on the cards.

The stoppers around that time (0816, 0846, 0916) are all booked to use P3 at Oxford Road in order to leave P5 free for the 0709 ex-Liverpool semi-fast. I don't know why the semi-fast should get this priority, perhaps it's simply because it's a semi-fast.
This routine came unstuck yesterday morning when the semi-fast finished up behind the stopper, and the semi-fast was formed of a 6-car 195, and therefore wouldn't fit in P5. Hasty platform reallocation was called for.
It may have been yesterday's performance which inspired the stoppers to be routed into P5 today.
It was, of course, the semi-fast which this morning skipped its Irlam stop. This may have been a consequence of it already being overloaded, or the fact that it was 10L, or a combination of the two. It would not have helped matters this morning the Chat Moss line being blocked at the time by a broken-down tamper.
195s are allowed in P5 at Oxford Road, prior to yesterday (to the best of my knowledge) the 0805 arrival/0912 departure had always used it. There is also a booked working on a Sunday morning involving a 195 using P5.
As to not clearing P5 when Oxford Road was remodelled, I'm sure many will regret that P6 does not continue to exist, too.

I see that 195001 on its return 0912 from Oxford Road it did not actually leave until 0924, i.e. after the next stopper, which went at 0920. At the time of the 0912's booked departure, the stopper was not even in (it arrived 0913). Perhaps there was some impediment to the 0912's departure, or maybe the controllers simply forgot which train was in which platform.
The stopper was sidelined at Glazebrook to let the semi-fast pass, but the latter's departure from Lime Street on its next trip was still 13L at 1029 - i.e. behind the stopper. Arrival at the Airport was 35L and departure 22L - finishing up behind the stopper, again. This time the stopper was not passed until Wavertree. Departure from Lime Street was at 1328, i.e. behind the stopper. However the latter was held between West Allerton and Liverpool South Parkway in order for the semi-fast to pass, arrival at the Airport was still late, but not too late for an on-time 1450 back to Liverpool.
One of the other semi-fast diagrams was grounded by that time. Overall things seem to have been as big a mess today as yesterday - okay, the broken-down tamper was not Northern's fault, but some other things were.

195101 will be out running on a driver training diagram from Wigan later this morning, probably about 1100. This will be one of its first jaunts on the main line. The other training unit at Wigan is 195112.

Anyone else find them a bit "bouncy"? It could be the track but the ones I'm on are doing WCML, Wigan to Lancaster, I'd hope that was in a good state.
