That looks promising. And the AVANTI in the logo looks similar to what I remember from the trademark application on the IPO website.
The phone number, if you call it, is answered as being East Midlands Railway, but not sure that means a great deal.

It may be that the customer help database in its entirety has been duplicated over from EMR by whoever runs custhelp.com whilst the final details are ironed out?

custhelp.com is a generic domain used for the Oracle Service Cloud CRM software (previously called RightNow) - it's used by lots of companies, including Network Rail, for their online contact centres.

"Marston Vale mafia"

That looks a bit more likely. The triangle is a bit like the SWR "square" logo in that it sort-of represents the pattern of the lines (via Brum and via the Trent Valley), though it misses off the bit north of Manchester and the Liverpool branch.

A red based livery shouldn't be surprising as it'll save repainting costs!

I don't like it as much as the "fake" previous version but it's not bad.

Apart from the fact that 53 Class 390s are now in white and the 221s will be moved on in 2 - 3 years or so!!

Well, after seeing the link to the CustHelp page, I'm 99.9% convinced it's 'Avanti West Coast'. As someone else mentioned, CustHelp is hosted by Oracle. We used to use Service Cloud at my old place of work but we got rid of custhelp and replaced it with our own domain name - not everyone business seems to do it but some replace it, some just leave it.

I'm a little disappointed if that's the full and chosen name. Unless, it's simply called 'West Coast' with Avanti just being like like "Northern by Arriva". I doubt it though, given the text size and it's prominence.

I don't think so, no way on earth they would use such a dodgy domain like ".custhelp.com"

Apologies if you've already become aware but "custhelp" is a domain used by Oracle for their Service Cloud platform "end user pages" (contact forms and FAQs). We used it where I used to work, but we did ensure we used our own domain rather than custhelp, but that's what you're given as default. It's almost certain now that it's going to be Avanti West Coast, unless there is a surprise up their sleeve or it's for a corporate arm of the business but why they'd invest in a form and knowledgebase unless it's customer-facing I don't know.

My bad, colour me surprised haha
The fact that they have named it "Avanti West Coast" makes me think that the new First open access operation on the east coast may well be named "Avanti East Coast"
This would be unwise though because surely they will be very different? Avanti East won’t even have first class!

We saw the name and the branding today, but I'm glad it was just to a few and will keep the suspense. Don't worry, it's not a World Exclusive!:D
