Mod note: Split from this very old thread: https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/london-terminals-has-something-changed.169360/

Hello everyone, first post for me.
I have a weekly season ticket from Peterborough to London Terminals. I have used this route for years, on Thursday I was stopped at Moorgate, I argued my case and was offered a chance to see the Station Manager, I was categorically told that my ticket was not valid. In the end I paid to enter. Can someone give me the link to the actual clause in the Agreement that specifies this. I am on a mission to prove the Manager at Moorgate wrong plus I am quite upset at the insulation that I was trying to dodge fares. I saw up-=thread that one one mentioned Schedule 3 no. 7 but I can't find the document it relates to. I obviously want to stop this happening again to me and others. I have taken copes of everything up-thread. But was wondering if this is the agreement and where can I find the mentioned clauses. Thanks

It's not the routeing guide, but the Through Ticketing Agreement (Schedule 3) that would have to have been updated to remove this, as maniacmartin says.
Hi can you send me the link to this document if possible. They are stopping people and refusing entry at Moorgate again this week.

Passengers really shouldn't have to prove to staff their valid ticket is so.

Oh dear, not this again. The inter-availability of tickets between Finsbury Park - Kings Cross - Moorgate has been in place for over 40 years.

A London Terminals ticket should operate the barriers at Moorgate and as far as I remember it’s a common gateline between LU and National Rail there. It’d be interesting to know more about the circumstances - is you ticket issued on The Key or is it a paper one? Is it routed ‘Any Permitted’ or GTR Only?

LU were caught trying it on at Kings Cross St Pancras last year. I really don’t understand why something so simple is so hard to understand.

Please do complain to LU and let us k ow how you get on.

Thank you tony_mac for the link.
I have put in a compliant to TFL and attached the agreement.
I am tempted to print it off and post is to the Station Manager at Moorgate.
I do use the non-barrier coming out. But going in it is easier to enter from the other side.
Normally no problem but last week I was challenged & dismissed!
I am not missing anything am ? - I have a valid weekly season ticket Peterborough to London Terminals

I suppose, (clutching at straws), you could double check you haven't accidentally been sold a ticket to London Thameslink, but I’m sure you’d have noticed if that had happened... (posted at same time as above post).

No I use LNER trains and not Thameslink, I buy the higher priced ticket for the fast trains so I have the flexibility to use either.

Absolutely 100% valid. The problem is the station-manager is employed by LU so won’t believe anything branded with National Tail that you show them.

It is in the ticketing and revenue handbook if they can be bothered to look it up.

Because I don't come into the office everyday. So I try & straddle weeks. Plus I get 30 days holiday.
