Hello all,
Having looked at www.alanthomsonsim.com, I found that the XC Route (also known as Birmingham - Bristol) is apparently being "enhanced" and this route, which is "in development" according to the website, will include the Cotswold Line.
Here is the image which is being shown on the website homepage:
The text in gold is the enhanced section. I suppose you could also call this a route extension, as it will include the full 86-mile long Cotswold Line. Hereford is already included in the route at the moment.
Personally, as the Cotswold Line is my local line, I am looking forward to this very much. I can't wait for it to be released, even if a BETA is released and there is little scenery!
I have decided to put this on the forums just in case anyone who is working on the route can share anything and for people to share their thoughts on it.
I asked on Alan Thomson's Twitch stream last week (as I write this) if he knew of a release date, but he said that he didn't know as the route is currently a Work In Progress.
-Peter
