We take the three minute walk to Heol Cwrdy and there board the 0910 Easyway of Pencoed service 16 to Bridgend (Princess of Wales Hospital/Coity Road) that arrives there at 0917 on Friday morning.

We then board the 0958 Stagecoach South Wales service 172 to Tonyrefail (Waunrhydd Road), arriving there at 1028 on Friday morning.

Leaving the railway station, we take the 5 minute walk to the Village Tavern on Bute Street and there board the 1209 Stagecoach South Wales service 120 to Pontypridd (Bus Station) that arrives there at 1320 on Friday afternoon.

We then board the 1333 Stagecoach South Wales Gold service 132 to Ferndale (North Road Schools), arriving there at 1410 on Friday afternoon.

We take the short walk over to the railway station to board the 16:38 Transport for Wales service to Bridgend, arriving there at 18:40 on a Friday.

As we've been around Bridgend before, we take the six minute walk to the bus station, where we board the 1855 First South and West Wales service X1 to Swansea (Bus Station), arriving there at 2013 on Friday evening.

We enter the station and get a little sleep in the waiting room, then board the 03:59 Great Western service to Bristol Temple Meads where we arrive at 05:53 on Saturday morning.

We then take the 0612 Cross Country service to Birmingham New Street arriving there at 0756 on Saturday morning.

We exit the station to the bus stops on Smallbrook Queensway, where we board the 0833 National Express West Midlands Platinum service X22 to California (Barnes Hill), arriving there at 0856 on Saturday morning.

If only it was the proper California!

We take the four minute along Islington Row Middleway to the bus stop outside Five Ways station, where we board the 0945 National Express West Midlands service 80 to Warley (Claremont Road), arriving there at 1008 on Saturday morning.

We then take the 1020 National Express West Midlands service 87 to Smethwick Galton Bridge railway station arriving there at 1031 on Saturday morning.

Mindful of the seven minutes minimum connection time that applies at the station here, we decide to leave the buses for a while and we enter the station and board the 1055 West Midlands Trains service to Whitlocks End that arrives at 1130 on Saturday morning.

We then take the 1148 West Midlands Trains service to Danzey arriving there at 1201 on Saturday

There being apparently no bus stops within walking range, we take a look round Danzey Green before coming back to the station and waving down the 13:01 West Midlands train service 2S36 which picks us up and takes us to Stratford on Avon where we arrive at 13:23 on Saturday afternoon.

We then take the 1403 West Midlands Trains service to Widney Manor arriving there at 1433 on Saturday.

We leave the station and wait for the 14:57 Landflight service A3 to Dorridge Station where we arrive at 15:06 on Saturday afternoon.

Next we take a short hop on the 1513 Chiltern Railways service to Solihull arriving there at 1520 on Saturday.

We then exit the station and board the 1538 National Express West Midlands service 49 to Cotteridge (Pershore Road South/Wharf Road), arriving there at 1620 on Saturday afternoon.
