I do. Considering they pay for literally all your training/tests and licences as well as continual CPC training it’s not too bad a deal. It goes up after a year
HGV pays more per hour (sometimes) but you can end up paying 3-4K for all your licences. your increased hourly rate will still end up taking years to pay off the initial outlay. You also can and do end up working your driving time to it’s absolute limit. I keep hearing of drivers on £500 a week for a 40 hour week. I’ve yet to see a payslip to back it up.
After working in an office for 13 years I’m looking forward to the change.
