This has probably been asked before but times move on...

Is there a place near or on the concourse still where it's
possible to purchase tobacco/cigarettes?

Cheers.

I've always gone with the flow....8-)

There are £29 each way offers at the end of the month and was hoping to do
a straight in/straight out jobbie....

Brussels Midi now actually has a duty free after security. They sell cigs there.

Plus a wide array of Belgian beers. Couldn't resist a couple of bottles myself.

But is it really that wide or is it all just the standard "Leffe" or "Chimay" stuff which you can get over here anyway?

I picked up two bottles of Blanche de Namur. There was a decent variety of stuff- probably a little cheaper than in the UK.

Leffe and Chimay were however featured, yes. A lot of it I have seen at home- albeit often in more specialist beer and ale stores. (One in Ashbourne is good for Belgian stuff)

Comically you could also get a case of Stella. Sure its local but...why

The Stella in the U.K. is largely brewed in Luton, I think, compared with Leuven and is slightly weaker. I stand to be corrected though.

EDIT: Google suggested both Magor in Wales and Luton.

I thought the pint I had in Charleroi ages ago seemed a little more drinkable...
