Roman Road
Prior to that station (Roman Road) was.....
Ridge Bridge (1912-1944)
I haven't found map evidence for the location of either of these stations. They were both close to the overbridge by which the A654 (Roman Road) crosses the railway. The best information I can find is that Roman Road (1840 - 1840) was just west of the bridge and that Ridge Bridge was sited conveniently for the local colliery which is east of the bridge, so in the absence of any other information I suggest that the order (coming from Leeds) should be Roman Ridge first, then Ridge Bridge. Alternatively Rule 4 could be applied since the exact locations aren't known, and only one of them claimed.
