What's the nearest completely unstaffed (all day, every day) station to London Charing Cross (what I take as the centre of London) as the crow flies?

Drayton Green? (or perhaps a station on the DLR if it counts?) Wembley Stadium might be another contender.

EDIT: OP has confirmed DLR does not apply.

Beltring ? Either that or somewhere on the North Kent line.

Or Leigh, going the other way from Tonbridge.

What's it called? It's called Cumbernauld
An obvious pair would be both the Sudbury (Middlesex) stations along the Chiltern line (the ex Great Central/Great Western section via High Wycombe) due to the very limited number of trains that call there.

Maybe Northolt Park too?

It appears there are 27 National Rail stations in Greater London categorised as Category F (Small Unstaffed). But I don't think this list is accurate as some stations listed as category F (such as Canonbury or Clapham High Street) are staffed full-time.

I think the closest category F station would be Queenstown Road (Battersea), which is less than 2.5 miles from Charing Cross, as the crow flies. But I believe this is a staffed station.

Other than that, it has to be @sharpley's suggestion of Lea Bridge, at about 5.5 miles.

I'm assuming you exclude occasional cleaners and so on. Westferry DLR if that counts?
I'll exclude cleaners etc... I'll also discount the Tube and DLR. I'm just on about NR stations. These may have interchanges but most of them will be staffed apart from ones like Birkbeck.
