314216 is now at JR Adam & Son for scrapping. Allelys just put a pic on their Fb showing one of its driving carriages being dismantled. Will have to assume that it went by road from Yoker!

There’s a photo on the Allely’s Facebook page that appears to be 3x314 PTSOs next to each other on a concrete surface, 2 are C&C livery, one is SpotRail. Assume this was taken at Long Marston? Also, off topic, any idea what the Connex EMU coach is in the 2nd picture?

314210 inside shed at Shields and is next for the chop.

not sure if centre cars of 210/216 going to Long Marston also, to recover transformer etc

So 210 hasn't been scrapped yet?

dont think 210 will survive beyond today, as suspect it will be taken by road to scrapyard

209 if I remember correctly had a non multi restriction at one end before it went to Yoker, so I wouldnt be suprised if it gets hauled to Glasgow Works for road transport or hauled to Shields when the the next 320 is due to be moved to/from Kilmarnock Brodies

Yes - Allelys' have posted a photo on Facebook in the last 20 minutes of a very graffiti-ridden 210 being unceremoniously taken off the back of a low loader at the scrapyard! (Incidentally, someone has written "HELP HELP" in the dirt on one of the driving cabs!)

It’s a shame no one caught 210 and 216 making what I assume will be the final 314 movement under their own power on Sunday (unless 209 moves under its own power at some point).

If you look carefully in one of the other pics you’ll see what’s left of one of 216’s carriages!

Gruesome!

The pics from Facebook once again seem to only show the two front carriages from 210 going to Adam & Sons for scrap. Does this mean there more middle carriages on their way south to Long Marston?
