Do we go to Newmarket? I was envisaging reversing at Six Mile Bottom, onto the section from there to Great Chesterford, abandoned in 1851.

Indeed you are most correct, as the journey preamble stated that the final line on the journey was the Newmarket and Chesterford Railway abandoned section (with three closed stations only open from 1848-1851), the first of these being that of......

This is number 771 in the series so far.....
