Stations which had a Woolworths store extremely close to them:
Two in Merseyside: Southport and Waterloo. Also, Birmingham New Street.
What other examples are there?

Brunstane in Edinburgh. Remember cycling past the abandoned shell when I lived there.

Paignton had a large store right by the level-crossing at the north end of the station. Now split into smaller retail units.

Conwy about 400 feet or so from each other.

It would be helpful if the OP could define "very close" for us.

Prestatyn about 1,000 feet.

Smitham (now Coulsdon Town). About 100m south down the high street. On the junction of Chipstead Road opp the Red Lion pub. Now a Tesco Metro.

Redhill. About a 150m walk west, next to the Belfry Shopping Centre. Could sometimes see it from the trains on a clear day. Now a Wilko.

Before they moved into the Bon Accord Centre in Aberdeen, Woolworth's occupied a building on Union Street which backed onto The Green - just a couple of minutes away from the railway station. The site is now mostly a McDonald's.

*EDIT*

I found this site which you may find of interest:

Carlisle - same side of English Street as Court Square and the main station entrance.

Note how many are in seaside resorts.
I've always been convinced it was deliberate policy: get off the train and Woolies was nearby for beachwear, sunscreen, sweets, beach toys.......and of course big store shopping at Woolies, M&S, etc was for many women an essential part of the seaside day out experience. The beach resort big stores were allowed to open on a limited number of summer sundays, so the closest to the station the better

New Milton, down Station rd, across the traffic lights, the other side of what is now Morrison's. I think now a Poundstretcher, opposite Bradbeers
Lymington Town to the former Woolworths (now Poundland) about the same distance

Depends how you define "extremely close", but I'd nominate Motherwell (5 minutes walk max) Argyle Street and Glasgow Central (when Woolworths moved into the former Arnotts).

Edinburgh Princes St - right across the road from the top of the Waverley steps - if I remember correctly!

Liverpool Lime Street faced the closed entrance (converted to a fire exit) of the St Johns store
