Because no other McGills depots have this practice in place and it’s not standard practice at most independents in the area.Is that not fairly standard practice away from the larger depots of the major group operators?

Coatbridge is completely different to the other 3 depots, so that isn’t surprising. Stagecoach had outstations (quite possibly still do), where the drivers swept out their buses at the end of the day.Because no other McGills depots have this practice in place and it’s not standard practice at most independents in the area.
It’s only recently they’ve had to start doing this. It was previously done by the shunters.Coatbridge is completely different to the other 3 depots, so that isn’t surprising. Stagecoach had outstations (quite possibly still do), where the drivers swept out their buses at the end of the day.
Do mcgills still have any of there BMC buses left as they look odd but have never been on one?
Were they ever properly used by mcgills as their a strange model choiceThink they're all withdrawn now? Bain's Coaches up here still have quite a number of BMCs in use however...

When they 1st took over Silverdale they were used often but as they've scaled back I'm assuming they would withdraw the oddities in the fleet. Not seen the Primo in a while either.
When I was on the 213 it was a E200DUsed the BMC quite regularly on the 329 and on the 213 evening service

The two BMCs haven’t been in use since last summer, when there was a number of changes to SPT contracts. Was on the 329 until fairly recently
Noticed a demonstrator citaro a few weeks back, too dark n wet to notice if was anything different to the regular ones, just noted it was a metallic blue colour with stuck on fleet names.Mr Roberts said on Twitter fairly recently that they were trialling buses for the 38, but I do not know if there have been any others.
That was a Hybrid Citaro, also used on the ClydeFlyer while they has it. They alsoahad an MCV eVoRa B8RLE as well a few weeks agoNoticed a demonstrator citaro a few weeks back, too dark n wet to notice if was anything different to the regular ones, just noted it was a metallic blue colour with stuck on fleet names.
