Which are all school routes with very infrequent services. And after dealing with the headache of going somewhere other than Sheerness...
Hence why I didn't use them....

We then exit the station and get the 1825 Stagecoach South East service 11A to New Romney (The Ship), arriving at 1912 Thursday evening.

I doubt they will be running on a Thursday evening at this time of year anyway, but leaving us within 0.5 miles has made me wonder whether the use of heritage railways, such as the RH&DR, permitted on this game?

Not at this time of day. I think we can use heritage railways if there is a timetable in operation for the appropriate day at the time of making the posting. For example, there was a service operating last Thursday, so I would say we could use that timetable.

We walk 250 yards to Marsh Academy and wait for the 19:31 Stagecoach East Kent service 102 to Dover Priory Station where we arrive at 20:37 on Thursday evening

Note that the Bustimes website shows the RHDR as running a "tram" service from New Romney to Dymchurch on schooldays. Is that right? I remember reading that the RHDR had stopped running school trains some years ago.

Don't have many options at this time of night, so we walk to Marsh Academy for the 19:36 Stagecoach in East Kent service 102 to Rye Railway Station, where we arrive at 20:22 on Thursday evening.

I'm assuming it's a through bus service since it arrives and leaves Lydd at the same time, but it seems to appear on Bustimes as two seperate services.

Since the only option tonight is a train back to Lowestoft where we have just been, we take a slightly extended overnight break and in the morning board the 06:16 Greater Anglia service to Saxmundham where we arrive at 06:56 on Saturday morning.
