advance refunds

can anybody give me some information I bought advance tickets from trainpal and didn't travel because of the corona virus situation and they wont give me a refund I was suppose to travel on the 20 - 22 of march I have lost that money now and wont get a refund

It is the case I'm afraid that all changes and refunds must be made before the date of travel. Tickets become worthless after that.

Your only hope is that your intended train didn't run at all. If it did it would be hard to get a refund after the date of intended travel.

I did speak to them before the date of travel at the time I only could change them but the date I wanted was for September wasnt feasible and wasnt aloud a refund surely now due to the goverments involvement in the railway I should be getting a refund

I belive it did it was a lner service from stevenage to grantham to leeds it was a split ticket
